For those of us with slow dial up connections? At 5 minutes/ MB, a download is out of the question. I'd be more than happy to pay a small fee to cover burning & mailing, but my searches are turning up nothing.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave,
We'd originally planned to offer discs directly as of the 07.10 release, but now a fairer estimate would be for the 08.03 release next month. In the mean time you're best bet is to browse the programs page for individual programs, so that you'll only have to download what you require.
yes there is one that i now they sell it for 1 dollar the site is http://onedollarlinux.com
I'm also on dial up (no high speed available -- unless you have a "south sky" allowing a satellite dish to be mounted at ground level make clearing snow/ice practical, that's intermittent service this time of year). Folks with laptops put them in the car and drive (round trip) 10-15 miles to where there are places offering high speed connections, though some of these (like a msall town library) only open a few hours/week.
So ...... I discovered the disk services. There are outfits that for a quite resonable charge will provide a disk of whatever you want downloaded. Cheaper than the gas to drive to where high speed connections available.
