    here are some open source video editers that I think should be looked at and i thnk at least one of them shold be included in the cd/dvd

  3. jahshaka is incredibly complex, more of a program editing software.

    avidemux is quite simple to use, about the same complexity as MS movie maker.

    not sure of the others.
