Hi, I feel like I'm spamming the forums but bare with me a bit longer.

I wanted to write some notes to Portuguese translators, and any other, if it applies, but I failed to see where I could do that.
I'm not used to translate using a wiki, I'm not even used to use a wiki other than PMWiki, which I use for a very different purpose. But to the point, I notice that the Portuguese translation has a few mistakes, some translations gave the sentences a completely different meaning. On of which was the translation of "Oxyd", the type of game, to the "Oxidadas" which means the chemistry state of metal, "oxidation".

I would like to leave a note, explaining that "Oxyd" is the type of game and a link to the wikipedia article about it so that any other translator doesn't revert back to a wrong translation.

How or where can I accomplish that? Thanks.

  2. The discussion or "talk" page that appears for every page in the wiki is the best spot to talk to translators of that same language. Look toward the top, there's some different tabs above all the wiki pages.

The idea of using the wiki is so you can make changes to existing and incorrect translation, ergo not one person is responsible for an entire language, which should improve accuracy and promote ongoing translation as the project expands.

Nobody translating should feel hesitant to change existing bad translation, since it's a team effort and not meant to be the job of one person.
