I would like to suggest that Notepad++ be consider as a replacement for Notepad2. The reason for this is that like Notepad2, Notepad++ is small and easy to use. Unlike Notepad2, Notepad++ has a many more programming language syntax highlighting selects included in the base program. I feel as a developer it would be a much better fit for the primary users of notepad style editors.
